Weekend Workshops

"Little by little, a little becomes a lot."

We offer a variety of Clinics centered on a variety of dog training topics—usually, the last one to three days, depending on the subject. Clinics can be a great way to expand your knowledge of canine training. It is also a great way to meet new people in the dog training world. Some of our Clinics involve bringing a dog, and some are demonstration/lecture style. All of them are fun and a great way to socialize. CLICKER TRAINING

Learn what the clicker is, properly use it, get some practice in, and have fun while doing it. This is a one-day Clinic. Dogs and clickers will be provided.

KIDDIE CLASSES

This Clinic is for children ages five to nine years old and lasts two days. With this Clinic, we work on greeting a dog properly and how to behave around them appropriately. So many children accidentally get injured by dogs by handling them inappropriately. After finishing this Clinic, your child will know how to interact with dogs safely.

JUNIOR HANDLING

This is a tremendous three-day Clinic for kids ages ten to seventeen years old. We will go over basic obedience and basic dog body language. This is an excellent Clinic for kids looking to start training dogs or work with their dogs.

TRICK TRAINING

This two-day clinic will teach you how to train your dog in a difficult trick that will be decided before the Clinic. Bring your furry friend, a clicker, and lots of treats! We will talk about how to capture behavior with the clicker and shape it into the desired behavior. It is suggested to have a basic knowledge of the clicker. Our Clicker Training Clinic is an excellent Clinic to attend before signing up for this one.

SPEAKING DOG

Speaking Dog is a Clinic designed for people to become more knowledgeable in understanding their dogs. We cover body language and how to interact with dogs depending on their body language appropriately. Many people get bitten or attacked by dogs each year. It was often inevitable; however, more times than not,t it could have been prevented if the dog had been handled appropriately. After this class, you will no longer have to worry about talking to dogs wrong!

INTRO TO AGILITY CLINIC

This Clinic is targeted at teaching the basics of competition agility. It is a two-day class! We will cover all the general agility equipment, how to train your dog on it, and some standard agility rules. Agility confuses and overwhelms many people; however, after this Clinic, you won't have to worry about that anymore!

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

Our Behavior Modification Clinic is a fantastic experience. During the Clinic, we will bring in a dog with a severe behavior problem. We will show the class techniques to help with dogs like the demo dog and offer our process of repairing said dog's behavior patterns. After this Clinic, you will have gained lots of knowledge on dealing with dogs with behavior problems.
